You will be able to explore all the planets, strikes, and crucible maps that are currently exclusive to Forsaken and the Forsaken Annual Pass. I would also like to add that it's not just the base game, Curse of Osiris DLC, and Warmind DLC. Here's some more detail and some corrections from the previous response: Its no secret that Hand Canons are popular (and efficent) but there are many others good weapons in the game Imho for non SK owners Service Revolver is very decent if rolled with good perks but it is 180 and not everybody like how that gun behave. I totally agree that in HC departament there is not much to choose from and even Y1 HC king Dire Promise is no more possible to get.

You have valid point here ( i bought Forsaken 2 moths after launch i can relate) but i will play devils advocate here and say that with buffs/nerfs coming soon space will open up for other weapons f ex. They will become the currency you use to buy Season Passes in the future which will give you access to certain exotics but how good these exotics are yet to be seen. The premium currency, at the moment, is solely for cosmetic stuff. Gives an idea moving forward how f2p a previously paid game will be. Guess on the expansion side of things, you still lose out on some aspects of endgame but its nice to see F2P aren't totally shafted in that regard with pinnacle weapons. The only real Exotic Handcannon you get from the Base Story is Sunshot, which is a BB Gun compared to the M1 Abrams which is Ace Of Spades that you get from completing the Forsaken Story. Not all of the weapons are winners but some end up being real damn good. Its not super apparent, you're gonna get kills and you're going to find guns you like, you're going to have access to pinnacle weapons which come by every season and for the last few seasons have been fairly successful to the point of being must haves but when you run into Hammerhead (and to a lesser extent Ace Of Spades which is still one of if not the best Handcannon in the game) non-stop you're gonna start to understand. Where the game becomes "Pay2Win" is in the fact that the weapons you get from having Forsaken and its content drops (Paid content) severely outclass the weapons you get from Base + CoO + Warmind (Which is what New Light players will be receiving). Warframe you can trade for platinum and earn potential millions if you hardworking. So how much and how often can you earn it.
